Yes, with Lidl Connect, you can use your plan's allowances for data, calls, and texts in the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom just as you would in Ireland, with a 40GB fair usage data limit.
You will receive a text message when you reach 80% and 100% of your data allowance.
Within the EU, your €14.99 top-up allows you to use your plan's allowances just like at home, with a fair usage policy of 40GB for data.
If you exceed this or are traveling outside the EU, roaming charges will be deducted from your credit balance.
To add credit without affecting your current plan, top up in increments of €5 or €10.

To opt out of roaming notifications contact us via Live Chat and an agent will process your request.
However, we do not recommend opting out of roaming notifications as they are in place for you to avoid high data charges when you are abroad.
If you reach 80% and 100% of your chosen cap (€60 / €123 / €360), you’ll get a message confirming your data is capped.
At 100%, data stops unless you choose to continue and exceed the cap. To continue using data, text PASS CAP to 50193. Standard charges will then apply — see the Pricing Information for more detail.
The cap automatically resets on the 1st of each month.
Some countries are shutting down their 2G and 3G networks. This can affect roaming on older phones:
If 2G is closed, data will only work on 3G.
If 3G is closed, data will only work on 2G.
Phones that only support 2G/3G cannot use 4G or 5G data.
For full roaming coverage, use a 4G or 5G compatible phone.
To listen to your voicemail while abroad, call your own number in this format:
Step 1: Dial +353 (Ireland’s country code)
Step 2: Remove the first 0 from your prefix
Example: Change 087 to 87
Step 3: Add a 5 after the prefix
Example: 87 → 875
Step 4: Add the rest of your phone number
Example: 8751234567
Step 5: When prompted, enter your voicemail password
Default is 0000 unless you’ve changed it.
